Message from the Principal
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
By now, many of you will have heard the news of the passing of Pope Francis.
As a Catholic community, we pause to acknowledge the deep loss felt across the Catholic Church and the world. As the spiritual leader of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis has touched the lives of millions around the world with his unwavering commitment to compassion, humility, and justice. His leadership reminded us all of the importance of caring for the most vulnerable in our communities and of living a life grounded in Gospel values.
At Mother Teresa Catholic College, we honour Pope Francis' legacy and the profound impact he has had on our Church and our world.
We ask you to join us in praying for the repose of his soul and for the Church as we enter a time of mourning and transition.
May Pope Francis rest in God’s eternal peace.
Mr. Jay Sutton

Holiday Highlights: ARTS & HASS Tours Inspire Beyond the Classroom
While many were enjoying a well-deserved break over the holidays, a group of passionate students from our College took part in two exciting educational tours — the ARTS Tour to Melbourne and the HASS Tour to Sydney and Canberra.
These immersive experiences offered students the chance to deepen their understanding and appreciation of their chosen disciplines beyond the walls of the classroom. From world-class exhibitions and theatre performances in Melbourne to visits to Parliament House, national museums and institutions in Canberra, the tours brought learning to life in unforgettable ways.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff who generously gave up their holiday time to lead these enriching opportunities. Your commitment to our students' growth, creativity, and engagement is what makes experiences like this possible — and so meaningful.
To our students who represented the College with such enthusiasm and pride, thank you for embracing the spirit of exploration and learning. We can’t wait to see how these adventures inspire your work and thinking throughout Term Two and beyond.
