Time to reflect on a small part of the personal journey of a group of students at our College who have collectively become known as the Pencil Girls. One of our Key Learning Aims at MTCC is to “offer differentiated learning according to student need”

The group of Year 9 girls rounded off their semesters work with a visit to the Apple Store at Garden City on Monday to engage in a course entitled Art Lab Playful Portraits. They not only were great ambassadors for the College they stretched the presenter’s capabilities, and the girls were introduced to skills using the App Procreate that were beyond their years. The team of presenters at Apple invited Ms Moroney and her student team to return to store and were keen to tailor student specific sessions for the group in Semester II.
