  • Mother Teresa Catholic College is a technology-rich Apple Distinguished School that has integrated Apple technologies into its teaching and learning environment since 2021.

These tools have become essential in fostering creativity, allowing students to not only consume knowledge but also create content. Through iPads, we provide K-12 learners with creative opportunities that equip them to thrive in an ever-changing digital world. Our College offers a wide range of modern ICT facilities and resources designed to enrich students' learning experiences and prepare them for the future.

As part of the enrolment agreement, families are required to adhere to a digital resource plan and follow the College's ICT policies, including the ICT Student Acceptable Use Agreement and the Behaviour Management Agreement. This ensures safe, secure, and age-appropriate access to online platforms. All iPads are managed and supervised by the College’s IT team, who handle the setup and management of devices, including secure internet access, essential apps, and cloud storage. Students are also provided with access to Microsoft Office 365 and printing facilities within the College. During school hours (8:30 am - 3:00 pm), restrictions are placed on iPads to block distracting apps like games and social media.

Parents can continue these restrictions at home using the Jamf Parent App. The management and supervision of iPads are essential components of our digital learning environment at Mother Teresa Catholic College.

  • In 2014, Mother Teresa Catholic College introduced its House system, creating four unique Houses that play an integral role in our school community.

Each House is named in the indigenous Noongar language and represents one of the four elements, honouring the natural world and the rich cultural heritage of the land.

    The four Houses are:

    - Boodjar (Earth)

    - Kaal (Fire)

    - Kep (Water)

    - Maar (Wind)

Each house fosters a sense of belonging, community spirit, and healthy competition through a variety of school events and activities. The House system encourages students to develop leadership skills, work collaboratively, and embody the values of respect, responsibility, and resilience.

Mother Teresa Catholic College proudly acknowledges the Traditional Owners and Custodians of this land—the Noongar people—who have lived on and cared for this land for many thousands of years. Their connection to the land is a deep and integral part of our College’s identity and mission.
